Just got the MX for my Ram 1500. So far so good. I love the MX model. First time I have had one that was not flush. The extra head room makes a difference. Got a few accessories but its easy to go overboard if your not careful. In my opinion the clothes hanger is not worth $35, neither is the battery operated light at $35. You can build a clothes hanger that's bigger and stronger for much cheaper, you can also buy any number of led light fixtures now that can install anywhere you want for a fraction of A.R.E. cost. But I do love the cap and plan on having for a long time.

The only problem i have is that it took 8 weeks to get to the dealer. After the installation the dealer found multiple chips and scraches that they put touch up paint on. Cheap fix and looked terrible. The dealer was able to order a new cover and promised it would be at the dealer in 3 weeks. Currently waiting patient for the new cover. Its been 2 weeks, so we will see if they hold to there promise. I will give a full review when the new cover comes in!

Nice cap , fits good the line is off a hair on side rails , rear twist - out window on drivers side does not sit flush to cap, paint chip below window on drivers side and when closing the rear glass window door at tail gate two hands are needed over each locking device so it will sit flush. The cap was dealer installed.
