The paint on my new cap didn’t match. We sent the gas cap door to ARE and returned the cap for repaint. It still doesn’t match. I’m disappointed at ARE. It took the paint shop six weeks to mismatch the paint again.

I cannot express how disappointed I am in quality, fit and finish of my new CX Classic topper. First off, the topper rear door leaked water inside the truck box. A replacement door was ordered and replaced. The replacement door is shifted to one side and scrapes against the frame when opening and closing. Since the door is shifted to one side the gap between the door and frame is not consistent from side to side resulting in a half inch gap between the door and fiberglass on one side. I definitely do not recommend any purchase of an ARE product.

 Better than before
CX Classic : Ford F150

This is my 3rd ARE truck cap over the years. The fit and finish is topnotch and this cap came with the liner. The fit is even better than before as the cap is almost tight to the the truck. Make sure you get the swing down window or you will not be able to clean the glass between the truck and the cap. I could not be more satisfied with this cap.
