This cap was bought specifically for a roof top tent . I had a passenger side tool box built and aluminum doors on the sides , and a glass door for the rear . Very impressed with the build quality.I have a friend who was a former driver for a competing cap company who gave me his observations of the different cap manufacturers after seeing what is available,and in his opinion , ARE is the best out there . I don't think he lead me astray . I do wish the T handle latches were available in black , but other than that ,I am very pleased with my purchase .

 CX HD

The CX HD works as described. The Color matched perfectly. Interior lights (center strip lights) work perfectly and light the area well. 12 volt receptacle though keeps blowing fuses if I plug in my 12v fridge into it, a small disappointment as this was the intended purpose for wanting it. The internal frame works well supporting the bars on top to hold the roof top tent I installed on it. Overall a nice addition to my truck.

Have had a MX HD cap on my truck for 6 months. Found it in stock online it matched my truck perfectly and compared to other caps I shopped this is by far the best I have seen. Get compliments all the time and most people are impressed with the color match to my truck..Very happy with this cap
