ARE Z series cap installed on Honda Ridgeline will leak water.called customer service and they said that they will not warranty against leakage. At no time did ARE contact us in regards to this issue during the ordering process. Why on earth would you even suggest to sell this product to someone with this vehicle. DO NOT BUY FOR HONDA RIDGELINE.

I had the CX unit installed in April. I was washing the unit several weeks after install and there was a leak at the back window. I called the installer and set up an appointment to meet. They advised me that it should be expected that the unit will leak water into the bed of the truck, and that there was nothing they could do. I told them that had I known that I would have bought the tonneau style, so that I could put items in the back of the truck and assure they would not get wet. I had intended on installing a bed mat, cannot do that now, very disappointing. Now I cannot put suitcases in the back of the truck when traveling.

 MX topper
TW Series :

Once I paid deposit, I had to wait over 12 weeks for delivery. when mx cap arrived, it was immediately installed. I wasn't too impressed with the way carpet was installed, and in places, it looks like scraps were used, but I was satisfied overall. Unfortunately, after only 6 weeks, I backed under carport with rear window up, and bent aluminum window frame beyond repair. Granted I didn't break glass however, entire rear window assembly needed replacing to the tune of $550. I've been waiting now, for over a month for replacement, which hasn't arrived, so my truck is now unusable in it's present condition. I know this is all my fault, and I should have checked height of open window before I backed under carport, but I didn't, so now I wait. ARE customer service leaves a lot to be desired, for sure. I had local dealer contact ARE to determine when window might be shipped, with no answer given. Their reason was, not enough help in parts department. So who knows.Product quality is one thing, service is another. I doubt I would go this route again, as there are other alternatives out there.
