Installed in 1996, I have never had a problem with the color fading, the structural soundness of the body, the locking mechanisms, the tinited glass, the gas pistons, or the carpeted roof and sides. However, having said that, the window rubber seals tend to shrink and split with heat, the vinyl window grommets shrink, warp and eventually pop out of the window frames, and window frame themselves rust. My windows leak everytime it rains and I cannot open the sliders now because the contorted vinyl grommets are preventing the sliiding windows from moving in the channel.
