Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

Overall very pleased with the final product. Hard to criticize without appearing to nitpick, but here goes. First of all, the website. Had a local dealer/rep but the build your own feature was not available thru them. Had to pretend to be interested thru a different dealer but that worked ok until I went to place my order. When writing up the order the program would not offer the size ( 23" ) that I wanted and when my dealer contacted ARE we were told it couldn't be made for some goofy reason I couldn't understand. So ,grudgingly, we placed the order for the 29" tall DCU. After a few days I couldn't take it anymore and asked my dealer to double check and when they did was told by a different person that...Or yes it could be made in the 23" size. So glad I had them check because the 29" version would have looked silly to me on my truck. The delivery time was as promised and the install was very straightforward. My truck looks great and the DCU is going to be very functional with the options I chose. They even keyed it to my ignition key...very cool. Since this was a considerable investment for me I'm happy to say there is zero buyers remorse and honestly would recommend this product.
