17 years and my cap is still like new.
RIDGELINE Series : Honda Ridgeline

September 14, 2023    Posted by: John
The cap I have is 17 years old and still working like a champ. It compliments the truck so well that some people think the truck is an SUV. The only issue I have had is the hydraulic arms that hold the hatch up to load things in the truck bed. They finally gave out. I guess after 17 years that is expected. They are easy to purchase I am sure. I will purchase a another ARE when I get my 2024 Ridgeline.

 Clamps
Z Series : Honda Ridgeline

So maybe if the top you sent is going to a truck that needs special clamps maybe you should send them with the order. I really love wasting my time trying to get it installed and to be told I have to wait another week because ARE can't complete an order correctly.

Z top on Honda Ridgeline leaks
Z Series : Honda Ridgeline

November 27, 2020    Posted by: Ralph
Serial Number: N3888272/CD2020034723 Z Series Top purchased 6/24/2020 and Installed 8/31/2020. Top does not rest on the bed rail to lap over outside of bed. Rather, it rests on the bed rail and that design has resulted in water leaking predominantly along the front side of the bed but also in multiple places along both sides of the bed rail. 10/05/2020 the Installer (Phoenix) removed top, resealed and reinstalled. At that time Phoenix ordered side windows that they said were were also leaking around the glass at bottom. Following that repair the leaks along the front bed rail and side rails continued. 11/16/2020 the Installer replaced side windows, removed top, resealed and reinstalled. Following that repair the leaks along the front bed rail and side rails continued. To date the Z series top has been installed and sealed 3 times and continues to leak more each time. The replacement windows could also be leaking but I am unable to determine that as long as the siderails continue to leak. Lastly, the replacement side windows will only slide open with excessive force and will not reclose to a locked position.
