 DCU Hight Top Camper
A.R.E. Dcu Series

I ordered the DCU canopy mainly because I was fitting an older truck and couldn't find a fiberglass option. Ordered the 36" high canopy since I plan to use it for camping. Haven't had a chance to use it yet since I have had it for just a week. Everything seems to be OK and the ordering and installation was painless. The canopy came with a lot of metal shavings inside, which a few managed to lodge in my feet before I got them cleaned up. Also wish there was a way to lock myself inside while camping, since I am single female and don't want any creepy crawlies inside. Anxious to give it a try next week on my first road trip.

The camper is an Overland series, and it fits great everywhere, except where the top of the tailgate meets the corner of the camper, there is a pretty big gap on both sides, and rain enters the bed of the truck. Don't know if this is a design problem with the camper shell or just the way the truck is made. I will have to fix this with some rubber sheeting or something. All in all a good product.

This is a great cover. The plastic lip on the back window, wear the window meets the tailgate seems a little flimsy. I also had to remove the "A.R.E." sticker from the back window because it was blocking my view. They should put the sticker on the top of the window off to one side so it does not block any of the view. Over all it seems to be a well built, nice looking cover. I hope to get years of use out of. I would like to see someone come up with some rubber covers for the 4 hold down camps so as not to get hurt if you bump into them.
