 Cx classic cover

The CX Classic cover was a good fit for my 2001 F-150 matching the contour of the cab as well as the color match. The dealer was very good to work and it arrived sooner than expected. For me the downside to it is the look of the rear door. I had to replace my Z-Series cover because the rear door which was the frameless glass that gave the cover a smoother look shattered for some unexplained reason while sitting in my driveway. I am disappointed that A.R.E. did not offer a replacement for it. The cover was installed 20 years ago and that says a lot about how good your product is. To put the 2 covers side by side it would be hard to know the new one from the old one except for the missing rear door.

I am well satisfied with my new Z series cap. It exudes quality thru out with one exception; the battery operated inside light is very micky mouse for a 2000.00 cap.. I would also suggest that the dealer one works with can help or hurt the likeability of this top. I spent 4 hours and about 2700.00 with extras at my dealer and the highly advertised owner never once spoke to me and said anything but he was quick to go outside and take pictures of this one beautiful truck with A.R.E. top. Thanks A.R.E. and the paint finish is gorgeous.

 Really nice, a few things of note

This really is an awesome camper shell combined with a bedrug. I have a compression boot that seems to work fine though I have only had this a couple of weeks. a number of people have asked me about it and its unique design...which complements my little Casita trailer perfect. LED lights are nice but are not of the best quality. Its nice to have the 12v outlets. Windoors are a must if camping if you don't want to unload everything. Sacrificed the roof racks to get in to the garage.
